MBFM’s Favorite Picks of April 2014

So many great new releases came out in April. Below, Check out our favorite picks including the new Motorama EP that we proudly represent!

Check out ‘She Is There’, the new EP of Russian Indie Rock band Motorama

Check ‘She Is There‘ and ‘Special Day’, two amazing singles from the new EP of  Motorama (Talitres / Mybestfrench Music).

As Jacob Graham of The Drums was recently stating in NME: « There is something interesting going on in Russia, but I believe that Motorama are the forerunners of this burgeoning movement (…)” We could not agree more, especially with these two new tracks!

MBFM’s Favorite Picks of March 2014

Before March is coming to an end, we wanted to share a playlist of our favorite picks. March has been a great month with a lot of new releases and we still enjoy some terrific tracks from the last months as well. Take a listen:

A playlist for V-Day

We know, we know…Paris is the city of amour and France is all about gallantry…Well the truth is that our roster features a lot of great tracks about love and we thought Valentine’s Day was an excellent excuse to feature some of them…Whether you like that day or not, for us it’s all about music and we hope you enjoy our playlist!

Brooklyn-based artist Lorna Dune represented by MBFM for sync licensing worldwide!

You might have recently seen Lorna Dune behind a grand piano or several analog keyboards playing her two EPs ‘Sidereal’ and ‘Miasmisphere‘. Her name appeared on Resident Advisor, The Fader  but also in The New York Times when she beautifully remixed Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw

Beyond several activities (formerly a performer of Steve Reich’s music for Steve Reich himself, a keyboardist of the Philip Glass ensemble and the founding keyboardist / synthetist in the quintet Victoire with Missy Mazzoli), Lorna’s solo project Lorna Dune has caught some recent critical attention.

Below, check her first video ‘Agnes Day’ which got Pitchfork‘s attention and listen to the whole ‘Miamisphere‘s EP. Happy Friday!

Alter K’s Artists Represented By MBFM For Sync Licensing In the USA!

We are so delighted to represent some amazing tracks for 60 artists from Parisian publisher Alter K. From typical French pop, to rock, instrumentals, Disco Pop, Electro Pop, funk, Ambient pop and electronic music, you’ll be sure to find your cup of tea.

Here is a selection of 24 titles where you’ll probably recognize some supreme sounds from John & The Volta, Black Devil Disco Club, Wax Tailor, and some excellent remixes from French Horn Rebellion and Com Truise…

We kept the playlist short and simple but you want more tracks? We are used to that, so just ask us! Happy listening and stay warm!
