For the last two years, The Rodeo has traveled around the world with her first album, “Music Maelström” (Emergence/Naïve), released in 2010.
This autumn, she’s back with a new EP entitled Cold heart, which features the single of the same name.
She is a diehard fan of American, Chinese and Italian art house films. So it comes as no surprise that three of the tracks on this EP were inspired by movies: “Mystery Train” by Jim Jarmusch, “Suzhou River” by Lou Ye and “La Notte” by Michelangelo Antonioni.
Cold heart recalls 60s folk pop influences, Spector productions and American indie folk, offering a glimpse of the second album by The Rodeo, awaited in 2013.
