Between an aesthetic Indie Pop and a dark dance floor sound, John and the Volta, wander on a twisted path with an aerial efficiency.  Geometric rythmics, ice-cold guitars, haunting melodies, this young French band seduces with their obvious skill of a perfectly thought writing. When their pop melodies are becoming more synthetic, beat boxes and keyboards bring elegant notes and a sincerely felt modernity.

Almost instantly, several artists get involved in the project: David Drake and Samuel Johnson (Django Django, Julian Casablancas), realized the band’s artwork and Brendan Canty from FeelGoodLost (Passion Pit, Aluna George) is also charmed and join them in the Irish scenery to realize the video of the title ‘Ghosts’. From this point, the musical and visual strength of the project is undeniable, obvious.
